“It was Father’s Day, 2014 and I had suggested Raylene give my husband a reading (who is as skeptical as they come). The spirit brought forward was my husband’s grandfather. Earlier that day I had come across a picture of him which we had no knowledge existed. It was at that moment my husband knew this was not coincidence. Next, I asked Raylene to read my cards. She went through the cards, paused, and was somewhat hesitant, almost fearful, to continue. I, like others, was shocked.  I called Raylene that night and told her what happened and reverted back to the reading. The story would go on to the corporate office walking out on July 18th and started the first non-union strike with 25,000 associates and 2 million customers right beside us. What did we want?  Our president and mentors back. That’s it; simple, right? Not really. I kept thinking of my reading. She said not to worry. It was 6 weeks with no decision in sight. Finally, Aug 27 comes, I go to bed exhausted and drained from this emotional roller coaster, I hear my phone ding; WMUR had a breaking news article ‘Artie T Buys Market Basket!’ There’s the end of the message.
